Overview
We want you to be satisfied with MeowPass. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for paid subscriptions purchased through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.
Free Plan
The MeowPass Developer plan is free and requires no payment. No refund applies to the free tier.
Paid Subscriptions (Pro & Team)
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your MeowPass Pro or Team subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This applies to first-time subscriptions only.
After 14 Days
After the 14-day period, subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Renewal Charges
Refunds for automatic renewal charges may be issued if you contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge and can demonstrate that you intended to cancel before the renewal date.
Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from Team to Pro, or from a paid plan to Free, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time on a higher-tier plan.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at billing@meowpass.dev with your account email and reason for the refund
- Include your Lemon Squeezy order number if available
- We will review your request within 3 business days
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and returned to your original payment method. Please allow:
- 3-5 business days for credit card refunds
- 5-10 business days for other payment methods
Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:
- Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated subscribe-refund cycles)
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Account termination due to policy violations
Service Outages
If MeowPass experiences extended service outages (exceeding 24 consecutive hours), affected paid subscribers may request a pro-rata credit for the downtime period. Contact us at billing@meowpass.dev with details of the outage impact.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal
- By emailing billing@meowpass.dev
When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Your account reverts to the Developer (Free) plan after the period ends
- Your existing vaults and secrets remain accessible (subject to free tier limits)
